Orthodontic services in San Diego have advanced over the years, and can be successful at any age. Metal braces are typically for kids and young teens, called kids braces. Many adults are becoming more comfortable with orthodontic treatment because of the options they have. In fact, one out of every five orthodontic patients is an adult, according to the American Association of Orthodontists website.
